Up The Road
ILBIJERRI’s inaugural production
in 1991, taken initially from a poem written by John Harding whilst on a journey home from Canberra. Themes in the play touched on deaths in custody, self determination, empowerment of youth, alienation, guilt and a community’s factional differences.
