ILBIJERRI Welcomes Our New Board

New directors join ILBIJERRI board

ILBIJERRI Theatre Company, Australia’s longest running First Peoples theatre company, is delighted to share that esteemed community leader Professor Rodney Carter has been appointed as Chair. He is joined by Deputy Chair Kylie Belling, a highly respected arts leader and one of ILBIJERRI's co-founders.

We also welcome new directors Lewis Brown, Louana Sainsbury and Jason Eades who collectively bring expertise in First Peoples governance, economics, storytelling, production and strategic planning to ILBIJERRI.

Continuing directors Glenn Shea, Brian Bero and Kareena Gay thank outgoing Chair Eugenia Flynn and Deputy Chair Suzi Hutchings for their commitment to the company over many years of service, including their leadership in transitioning ILBIJERRI to the National Performing Arts Partnership Framework and in supporting leadership succession.
